Job Description

McCormick Taylor is seeking a Construction Supervisor to work with our Construction Management/Inspection group for an immediate opening in Delaware County, PA. The project is scheduled to start by the end of July and is expected to last at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site daily observation of site improvements to ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with the project sponsor and read construction plans and specifications to ensure accuracy.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma (or GED); further education is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Construction inspection experience preferred; PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and/or local roadway/bridge inspection experience is a plus.
• Prequalification as a PennDOT Inspector is ideal.
• Preferred valid certifications (not expired), including NICET – Highway Construction Inspection (all levels), American Concrete Institute (ACI) certifications, NECEPT Concrete and/or Bituminous, ECMS experience.
