The role involves inspecting highway/bridge work, reviewing plans, and ensuring work complies with specifications while traveling to various site locations. The position emphasizes accurate field reporting, safety discipline, and collaboration with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure on-time completion

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of site development, highway/bridge inspection experience.
• Associates or Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Ability to interpret written specifications, plans, and documents.
• Strong communication and reporting skills with clients and teams.
• Commitment to safety training and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work daily to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Monitor contractor activities and perform field testing as required.
• Prepare daily field reports noting deficiencies observed on site.
• Interpret drawings and build documents and communicate findings.
• Follow project safety protocols at all times.
• Perform related duties to ensure successful project completion.
