• One year of construction inspection experience, and an associate's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, geotechnical engineering, surveying engineering technology, or a closely related engineering technology; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role focuses on providing technical inspection support for transportation construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and standards. As a Transportation Construction Inspector (Construction), you will perform the following duties:

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• You will work closely with vendors, and work hours may change based on vendor availability.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) ad-hoc, as approved, after successful completion of probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Montoursville. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. • Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $46,827.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years of experience in highway or bridge surveying, design, construction, or inspection work; or
