Job summary

Erdman Anthony is currently interviewing for a construction inspector to support transportation and civil projects. The role focuses on inspecting contractor work for conformance with specifications and documenting daily site progress.

Travel to project sites is expected; shifts may include overtime. A valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are required. The position offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience
• or 4 years minimum of highway or bridge construction experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily paperwork in accordance with clients’ requirements

• Physical requirements
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Walk several miles per day
• Work in the outdoors in various weather conditions
• Work various shifts including overtime as needed
• Travel to project sites

Eligibility

• 2 years minimum transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience
  • or 4 years minimum of highway or bridge construction experience
  • or Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

• Preferred certifications but not required:
  • NICET highway construction level II
  • PennDOT concrete
  • NECEPT bituminous
