Job summary

Clear Creek ISD TRANSPORTATION seeks an Employment Services Specialist to oversee transportation staffing, training records, and compliance with DPS, USDOT, and FMSCA requirements. This role supports the Transportation Department and coordinates background checks, certifications, and onboarding for new hires.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational, communication, and public relations skills, plus experience with HR systems and office software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Kronos, Laserfiche, and TalentEd.
• Ability to work under stress and interruptions; independent work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the bus driver certification and re-certification classes as required by Region.
• Maintain schedule and documentation of training, physicals, driver certification and driving.
• Request and monitor background checks for all.
• Monitor FMSCA Drug Clearinghouse for CDL holders.
• Assist Human Resources in random drug testing.
• Manage hiring process of new employees, schedule interviews, and complete PAN forms.
