Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, ensure retention, and support new business development. You will oversee day-to-day admin, customer service, billing, and coverage analysis for assigned accounts.

The role requires an active P&C license and trucking/transportation experience, with opportunities for growth and a balanced work environment across remote and hybrid settings.

Qualifications

• Active insurance license required; CIC preferred.
• 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong communication, analytics, problem-solving, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, submit renewals, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion of activities and accurate data.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
• Deliver proactive service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance.
• Champion IOA values and leadership.
