Transportation Clerk/Material Handler - Weekend Shift

Join Warehouse Services, Inc. as a Transportation Clerk/Material Handler on the Weekend Shift (Friday to Sunday, 5:00am - 6:30pm) with a pay rate of $19.00/hr plus a $3.00/hr shift premium.

Job Description: Under general supervision, perform a variety of technical and clerical tasks including receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping materials. Responsibilities include receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, record keeping, and reporting. Tasks require manual, clerical, and data entry skills. Receive guidance on new tasks and expected results.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with carriers and customer service to address questions and concerns.
• Serve as backup for Outbound Transportation and UPS clerks.
• Answer telephone calls courteously and professionally.
• Prepare daily truck load reports and assist with order processing.
• Prepare government orders, print tire labels, and government forms.
• Run daily closing reports and maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Assist with daily productivity reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
