JT Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Utility Coordinator to lead utility coordination for highway construction across Wisconsin.

You will identify conflicts, coordinate relocations, and collaborate with utilities, contractors and agencies to ensure project success. Applicants should have a civil engineering degree and 4+ years of utility coordination or related experience, with strong planning and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant utility coordination or civil engineering experience.
• Ability to read engineering plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of utility relocation processes and permitting requirements.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; GIS/AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Utility Coordinator for highway projects, coordinating utility activities through all phases.
• Identify, track, resolve utility conflicts across water, sewer, electric, gas, and telecom.
• Collaborate with utility owners, contractors, engineers, municipalities, and agencies.
• Review plans and utility maps to identify conflicts and develop solutions.
• Coordinate relocations and installations to support project schedules.
• Maintain project records, permits, and coordination documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Travel to project sites and stakeholder meetings as required.
