Farnsworth Group, Inc. seeks an entry-level Civil Engineering Associate - Transportation to collaborate with experienced engineers on a variety of transportation projects. You will prepare construction and design documents and support construction engineering efforts for local and government clients.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering degree and have interest in transportation; FE/EIT is preferred. Opportunities include fieldwork and exposure to both materials testing and design work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
• Degree concentration in transportation preferred.
• 0-2 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• FE / EIT Certification preferred.
• Experience with IDOT and local agency projects preferred.
• MicroStation or AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Ability to work in the field for construction engineering projects.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans.
• Assist with construction engineering.
• Basic engineering and design calculations.
• Conduct construction materials testing for concrete, soils, and related items.
