Job summary

STV currently has an opening for a CAD Technician/Modeler in our PA/NJ office to perform highway and bridge-related drawing and model development tasks on large-scale transportation projects. The role will utilize Bentley tools and adhere to CAD standards, client design standards, and presentation requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings/models, developing plans/details, coordinating CAD/BIM across disciplines, troubleshooting issues, and managing multiple projects under

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of transportation drafting/modeling experience.
• Strong proficiency with MicroStation, Bentley Modeler, Revit, plan and detail development, presentation, and CAD/BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop construction package drawings and models using established CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.
• Develop plans, details, sections, and other transportation-related deliverables.
• Work with project teams to coordinate CAD/BIM information across multiple disciplines.
• Troubleshoot modeling and drawing issues and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while working within aggressive project schedules.
• Follow client-specific standards, workflows, and software workspaces.
