Nucor Corporation in Arthur, IL is seeking an Area Lead to oversee safety, production and team performance in the CHI Overhead Doors division. You will lead frontline leaders, ensure daily targets, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading a team of over the road drivers (OTR).
• Experience with dispatching, routing and scheduling freight (OTR or Inter Modal).
• Working knowledge of Samsara products.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Power BI).
• Experience with CDL hours of service and FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, quality, cost and 5S standards across the area.
• Oversee daily transportation activities to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Manage staffing, process adjustments and priorities to improve area performance.
• Serve as a resource for operational challenges and coach teammates.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and attendance records across the area.
