Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, logistics or supply chain preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or work in the transportation industry required.
• Experience in fast-paced foodservice purchasing and/or logistics highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the process of all modes of transportation sourcing and support logistics strategy.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate quickly and effectively from pickup to delivery; resolve shipment issues.
• Track and trace loads and communicate load changes to stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with carriers, suppliers, customers and distribution centers.
• Analyze transportation metrics and drive optimization using TMS/ERP/Power BI data.
• Prepare period reports and KPIs and present findings to management.
• Develop and maintain documentation of procedures and processes.
• Collaborate with carrier management to improve load profitability and service levels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across internal and external customers.
