Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Analyst in Ohio to manage Transportation Management processes, including procurement, Freight Bill Audit & Payment, and shipment planning. The role drives cost and service improvements and interfaces with customers and carriers.

The position requires collaboration with internal experts, data analysis, and the ability to present findings in client meetings. A relevant degree and 2+ years in transportation management are preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree/Technical Certification in Business, Logistics, Transportation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation preferred.
• 2+ years in industry-related experience.
• 2+ years in freight flow/Transportation Management.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Access & PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage key performance indicators and conduct root cause analysis.
• Provide data processing, reporting analysis and respond to inquiries.
• Interact with clients to resolve problems and coordinate implementations.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs to support implementations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly customer metrics and reports.
• Update SCLM and SCMP; generate required support documents.
• Initiate continuous process improvement activities and monitor results.
• Measure network costs and service performance; implement improvements.
• Coordinate TM procurement to optimize cost/service.
• Support client quarterly and monthly account reviews.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement at accounts.
