Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Transportation Analyst for the Alternate Fulfillment Transportation (AFT) Team to optimize and execute transportation needs across North America. You will monitor operations, engage with carriers and vendors, and implement improvements to keep packages on time and cost-efficient.

You will analyze large data sets in Excel, escalate issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale AF operations as the network expands.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level.
• Experience managing large data sets and utilizing data to drive performance and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily operations in caps monitoring, carrier & vendor outreach, and problem solving for a rapidly growing network.
• Support continuous improvement of daily operations; provide feedback as the team expands.
• Escalate problems to relevant stakeholders and follow through on resolutions.
• Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Vendors, Carriers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Delivery Stations, Sort Centers).
• Identify and eliminate root causes of route inefficiencies, capacity constraints, and route cancellations.
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring activities and ensuring service requirements are met.
