Job summary

Yami is seeking a Transportation Analyst to drive efficient and cost-effective transportation across the distribution network, including Cross Dock, Transship, and DC operations. You will own first-mile and middle-mile processes, manage carriers, and implement cost-control measures while partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Tech teams to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of hands-on logistics experience.
• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics network design and cost control.
• Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization within shipping or distribution.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), SQL, and Tableau for reporting and analytics.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and standardize workflows for transfer, consolidation, and deconsolidation between nodes.
• Manage cargo flow across Cross Dock, Transship, and Distribution Center operations.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and throughput.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Tech teams for system alignment.
• Provide onsite support, troubleshoot shipment or system issues, and monitor performance.
• Own creation and maintenance of SOPs and process documentation.
• Build dashboards and analyze data to monitor KPIs, costs, and trends.
