Job summary

Trex Company in Winchester, VA is seeking a Transportation Analyst to be the main contact for Transportation at the Railing Warehouse. You will schedule inbound and outbound Trex-arranged freight, track shipments, and support Railing RFP processes to optimize logistics performance.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in transportation/logistics and a high school diploma. The role offers a base salary and bonus potential with a comprehensive benefits package from Trex.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years of transportation/logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound Trex-arranged freight, tracking, and awarding Railing Spot quotes and assisting with Railing RFPs.
• Create KPI reports and provide feedback to improve carrier performance.
• Coordinate with ITS to resolve freight payment discrepancies.
• Create and improve Railing reporting (pickup times, transit times, customer issues, carrier changes).
• Update Fuel Surcharge Program weekly for all carriers and internal teams.
• Conduct monthly calls with Railing Carriers to discuss issues, wins or changes.
• Cross-train and support other areas of the business as needed.
