Job summary

Trex Company in Winchester, VA, is seeking a Logistics Technician to support production and quality goals within our supply chain. You will unload trailers, transport and maintain raw materials, and organize stock on the loading docks and manufacturing areas.

This role requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts, forklift experience is preferred, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork. Trex offers a comprehensive benefits package and career opportunities within a leading, US-made decking

Qualifications

Able to work 12-hour shifts on-site.
Forklift experience is preferred.
Experience in logistics is welcome.

Responsibilities

Put safety first - always.
Work as a team to drive our “people first” culture.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other team members to do the same.
Unload van and flatbed deliveries.
Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
Ensure all incoming deliveries match the company purchase order and/or packing slip.
Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts.
Understand and be able to perform all job tasks in the receiving office.
Assist in maintaining raw materials using the First-In-First-Out methodology.
Perform housekeeping duties around raw material and packaging areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
