Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking a Transportation Analyst in Columbus, Indiana to support inbound and outbound shipping operations. You will collaborate with carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries and optimize transportation processes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience, with strong communication skills and knowledge of intermodal and over-the-road transportation. Travel up to 20% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Certifications in Logistics related field preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of intermodal and over-the-road transportation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of TMS and SAP preferred.
• Ability to work with customers and carriers via telephone.
• Travel up to 20% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
• Gather data from carrier scorecards.
• Analyze and process freight damage claims.
• Support development of yearly budget for departments.
• Gather data for development of cost-saving measures.
• Foster carrier relations with clear communication and conflict resolution.
• Process freight and invoices.
• Support process improvement within Transportation Department.
• Maintain alertness and safe work practices.
• Additional duties as assigned.
