Job summary

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is hiring a Transportation Aide in Penn Yan, New York. If you enjoy being on the road, connecting with people, and helping others live active, independent lives, this is your role.

You will safely transport passengers to programs, appointments, and community locations, provide a friendly, respectful experience, and support independence while keeping vehicles clean and safe. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. based on route needs.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Driver's License and Class E License required.
• Must meet agency requirements for 19A Certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from homes, programs, and community locations.
• Create a positive and welcoming experience through friendly, respectful interactions.
• Support people in maintaining their independence and participation in the community.
• Operate and maintain a clean, safe, and reliable vehicle.
• Follow transportation and safety regulations while ensuring passenger comfort and well-being.
• Communicate effectively with team members and report maintenance or service needs.

Pay Rate: $16.00-$17.00 per hour based on experience!

Location: Penn Yan, New York
