SUPERVISOR: DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION

JOB OBJECTIVE

• Assume the responsibility for supervising and assisting students with disabilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a high school diploma
• Demonstrate background of working with children with disabilities successfully
• BCI/FBI Background Check

JOB LOCATION

• All schools where students are assigned
• Handicapped bus

EQUIPMENT UTILIZED

• Wheelchair lift
• Wheel chairs
• Restraints
• Car seats

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential

• Assist and supervise the students in entering or exiting the bus
• Assist the students with their physical needs
• Supervise and assist with discipline
• Provide individual attention when needed
• Assist students as necessary and appropriate in emergency situations
• Such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Transportatio
