Job summary

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday, Thursday and Friday 11:30am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am - 6:30pm.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Transports and assists patients to various departments and areas of the hospital.
• Transports supplies, specimens, equipment and other items as required.
• Receives sorts, assembles Linen exchange carts and distributes linen.
• Required to assemble, disassemble, clean, disinfect and maintain equipment.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate with others.
• Able to stand for long periods of time, walk at least 10 miles per shift and able to push/pull over 74 pounds.
• CPR & AED certification preferred.
• Must be a High School graduate or equivalent.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good customer service skills.
• Certification in CPR/AED is preferred.
