Job summary

CVMC - Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, VT is seeking a full-time Patient Transporter to support the Patient Support department. The role involves transporting patients, equipment, and supplies, assembling linen carts, and maintaining equipment with CPR/AED preferred.

Expect day/evening shifts and a 40-hour work week. Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, plus strong customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transports and assists patients to various departments and areas of the hospital.
• Transports supplies, specimens, equipment and other items as required.
• Receives sorts, assembles Linen exchange carts and distributes linen.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, disinfect and maintain equipment.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate with others.
• Stand for long periods, walk long distances per shift and push/pull heavy loads.
