Position Description
The Transportation Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the administrative aspects of Iron Junction operations. Serves as a relationship manager between Iron Junction and the various carriers deployed to accomplish our customer service goals. This position is responsible for invoicing functions, data files that support invoice payments, responding to payment inquiries and supports the logistics team as needed.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Manage the collection, tracking and payment of truck invoices with supporting documents
- Maintains the electronic files supporting the payment process
- Assists the Logistics team during periods of heavy inbound call volume
- Assists the Logistics team with producing and sending load confirmations
- Performs additional duties as assigned or required not specifically outlined in this job description
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of transportation and/or logistics experience or demonstration of current logistics coursework.
- Desire to make a career in truck transportation industry
