Purpose of Your Job

Transport residents safely and courteously to appointments.

Essential Job Functions

1. Transport residents to and from medical appointments, primarily locally.
2. Work with elderly and disabled residents, managing flexible routes.
3. Represent Embassy Healthcare positively in the community.
4. Secure wheelchairs and assist disabled passengers.
5. Support other departments with deliveries (e.g., medical records, pharmaceuticals).
6. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report repairs.
7. Be flexible for special schedules and occasions.
8. Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Personal and Safety Functions

• Follow policies, cooperate with staff, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle hazardous situations and report safety concerns immediately.
• Use equipment properly and report defective tools.
• Respect residents' rights and confidentiality.
• Work in various conditions, including emergencies and exposure to hazards.

Qualifications

• State-certified nursing assistant license (STNA).
• Licensed as an STNA in accordance with state laws.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical and Sensory Requirements

• Ability to move, lift at least 25 pounds, and work physically in various conditions.
• Good vision and hearing, or suitable prosthetics.
• Capable of handling stressful and emergency situations effectively.
