Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Transport Planner for our West Horndon Depot, Brentwood. The role focuses on planning daily routes, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring smooth transport operations in a busy environment.

You will manage driver paperwork, compliance tasks, and spot opportunities to improve efficiency. A CPC qualification and full driving licence are valued, with a flexible approach to hours including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy transport/traffic office environment.
• Good knowledge of driver regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to cover varying hours and weekends when required.

Responsabilités

• Plan daily vehicle routes in line with customer requirements.
• Liaise with drivers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare and issue driver paperwork.
• Support driver compliance, including tachographs and drivers' hours.
• Complete staff attendance rotas and arrange relief cover.
• Raise subcontractor requests for fleet work with costing and approval.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are available for inspections and MOTs.
• Liaise with customers regarding changes to daily activities.
• Provide cover for colleagues when required.
• Carry out general administration and ad hoc duties.
