Job summary

W&B Service Company is seeking a Transport Refrigeration Technician in Fort Worth, TX. You will diagnose and repair start/charging systems, cooling and electrical components on refrigerated equipment used in truck, trailer, and rail applications.

Must have own tools and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. This full-time, non-exempt role requires 1-2 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to be on-call after hours.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of transport refrigeration technician experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to be on-call after hours.
• Own tools required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, climb, and sit as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair of start/charging, cooling and electrical systems.
• Repair and maintenance of reefer units per specs.
• Identify and obtain replacement parts as needed.
• Diagnose and perform proper repairs.
• Follow safety and health standards.
