DeVivo Companies in Saugus, MA is hiring a full-time Refrigeration Technician to service and repair transport refrigeration units (TRUs) and auxiliary power units (APUs). The role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and basic road service as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school a plus.
• Experience in refrigeration/HVAC installation or repair.
• Proficient with computer operation/usage.
• To have or be willing to earn EPA 608/609 refrigeration certifications is a big plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance & service inspections on transport refrigeration units (TRU) & auxiliary power units (APU)
• Perform diagnostic, repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment, auxiliary power units & heater equipment
• Follow established technical & administrative processes
• Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, & customers
• Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
• Perform road service calls as required
