Job summary

DeVivo Companies in Maine is hiring a full-time Transport Refrigeration Technician at our Falmouth location. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on TRUs and APUs, and complete repair orders while communicating with the team and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport refrigeration equipment installation and/or repair (Thermo King or Carrier Transicold preferred).
• Skills to install, diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, materials and methods.
• Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and service inspections on transport refrigeration units (TRU) and auxiliary power units (APU).
• Perform diagnostic and repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment and heater equipment.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes.
• Complete repair orders and parts usage forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members and customers.
• Remain current on technical and regulatory requirements.
• Perform road service calls as required.
