Based in Florida, the position involves coordination with Transportation Officers, incident reporting, and maintaining DOT documentation, with opportunities for professional growth within GEO’s compliant, mission-driven framework.

Qualifications

• One (1) year transportation experience.
• Valid proper class motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Knowledge of DOT requirements for Hours of Service and Vehicle inspections.
• Ability to set standards and procedures to establish satisfactory performance, quality and productivity.
• Effective personnel interaction, communication skills, and problem solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transportation operations and personnel to ensure detainees and vehicles are handled safely.
• Schedule Transportation Officers’ work assignments.
• Maintain DOT files and ensure vehicle maintenance and repairs meet company standards.
• Monitor security and custody during transport and report issues to management.
• Assist in duties of Transportation Supervisor or Manager when needed.
