The Transport EMT at TCH Medical Center will operate in a dual role as an EMT transport team member and as a communication specialist in the Transport Center. You will perform routine and specialized patient care under RN/RRT supervision, in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities include applying policies and protocols, documenting vital signs, and ensuring timely response to campus emergencies. EVOC/BLS and Texas EMT licenses are required, with dispatch skills preferred.
We are searching for a Transport EMT– someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform a variety of routine and specialized patient care activities, as assigned, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RRT). The Transport Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will operate in a dual role acting as both an EMT transport team member and as a communication specialist in the Transport Center.
