Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina, operated by SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, seeks a Transportation Services Driver to join our Pinehurst, NC team. You will assist patients in and out of vans, ensure safety, and support coordination with care teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a current valid driver's license with no serious infractions.
• CNA certification preferred; on-site training offered.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients by assisting them in and out of vans/vehicles; move them using wheelchairs or beds.
• Communicate with outside entities with excellent customer service.
• Comfort patients and families; be punctual and attentive to schedules; show care and cultural sensitivity.
• Transport equipment and supplies to treatment areas; deliver requisitioned orders.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and regulations.
• Support the organization’s reputation by taking ownership of new requests and adding value.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients by assisting patients in and out of vans/vehicles; lifting patients on and off beds; moving them to and from special service and treatment areas, using wheelchairs or moveable beds.
• Communicate with outside entities with excellent customer service.
• Comfort patients and their families by offering support and encouragement; being punctual and attentive to procedure schedules; demonstrating caring and cultural sensitivity.
• Transport equipment and supplies by picking up requisitioned orders; delivering them to assigned treatment areas and patient care areas.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with federal and state legal regulations.
• Enhance health care organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Manage confidential patient information.
• Ensuring all residents have a safe transportation experience.
• Engage in training upon hire and ongoing to ensure up-to-date knowledge of current safety practices.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must have a current valid driver's license with no serious infractions.
• CNA certification, and experience in customer service, transportation and healthcare are preferred. Training will be offered on-site regardless of level of experience.
