Job summary

Mrtruckinc is seeking a Transport Driver to perform routine and complex transportation work and to coordinate transportation plans. You will participate in pre-trip vehicle preparations, ensure proper equipment is loaded, and fill out the Log Book.

In this role, you will coordinate with the dispatch office for job assignments, maps, and special instructions, drive a water truck, and conduct Job Safety Analysis before entering job sites.

Qualifications

• Must pass a valid pre-employment drug test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.
• Must be able to regularly lift 80 lbs.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to follow safety policies and instructions.

Description

The Transport Driver will perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans.

• Participate in pre-trip preparations of vehicle
• Ensure proper equipment is loaded on vehicle prior to leaving the yard
• Fill out Log Book
• Coordinate with dispatch office for job assignments, maps, special instructions, etc…
• Drive water truck
• Conduct JSA before entering job site and plan entry route
• Operate pump
• Prepare post trip for any damaged equipment
• Load hoses on and off of truck
• Complete logs, Job Safety Analysis, vehicle inspection reports, way bills, BBS cards, fuel reports
• Employees in this position are considered confidential, maintaining the utmost confidentiality in dealing with business information
• Report all incidents or unsafe actions and/or worksites to supervisors
• Must complete jobs in order and notify supervisor or dispatcher of any uncompleted jobs

• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
• Must be able to be on 24 hour call on scheduled days

Requirements

• Must have a driving record free of careless driving/accident in the past 3 years
• The employee will be asked to regularly carry 80 lbs

• Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively
• Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers

The employee is required to use hands to handle, operate or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and CDL with a tanker endorsement

Employees do not have to have prior training but will be asked to complete some of the required training prior to being on the job site. The training required can vary depending on the specific job. Types of training include( but are not limited to):

• H2S Training
• Fall Protection Training
• CPR/First Aid/BBP (Must be completed within 90 days of Hire)
• OSHA Compliance Training (must be completed within 90 days of Hire)
• Must complete any other required training within 90 days of Hire
