Job summary

HHS Environmental Services, LLC (USA) is hiring for patient transport roles at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. Positions include Day/Evening/Night shifts with pay at $18/hour and both full-time and part-time opportunities.

You will respond to calls, direct callers, and maintain professional communication with patients and staff. Responsibilities include handling multiple phone lines, updating directories, learning PBX systems, and ensuring confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Ability to perform calmly, competently, and quickly in emergencies.
• Preferred: PBX and customer service experience, experience working in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple incoming telephone lines, obtain necessary information, and transfer calls to correct extensions
• Correct and update posted information and assist with the upkeep of directories and on-call lists
• Learn and use the features of the PBX phone system, headsets, telephones, and all other related equipment
• Perform overhead paging and monitor all alarms located in PBX, notifying appropriate personnel
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the PBX area
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational data and ensure release of information is consistent with all privacy policies
• Respond promptly, accurately, and calmly to disaster and emergency situations
• Orient and train new team members

Hourly Work Shift: Evening Shift (United States of America)

Wage: $18/hour

Location: Unity Hospital- 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our patient transport team! Respond to all incoming calls promptly and efficiently, direct callers to their appropriate destinations, and provide clear, professional, and courteous communication.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
