AristaCare is seeking a Transport Aide to support resident care by safely moving residents for therapy sessions, medical appointments and activities. This part-time per diem role ensures residents arrive on time, comfortable and with dignity while aiding nursing and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, SNF, or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• Must be HHA licensed.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from therapy, dining, activities, and appointments
• Assist residents with wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices
• Ensure residents are properly positioned and secured during transport
• Communicate resident needs or concerns to nursing or therapy staff
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transport equipment
• Respond promptly to transport requests
• Provide courteous and respectful interactions with residents and families
