Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Norcross, GA is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the lifespan, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Georgia required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible to apply; hospital experience preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability; coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff.
• Work within the organization’s policies and procedures to ensure quality nursing care.
