Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care across the lifecycle, from birth onward. You will apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while following hospital policies and maintaining standards.

Ideal candidates include new graduates, with a Georgia RN license and BCLS certification; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior hospital experience is helpful for PRN roles and for broader care coordination responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• New graduates eligible; no experience required.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred; 1 year for PRN roles preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license and BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with adherence to organizational policies.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability in a hospital setting.
