Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care across settings. The RN will operate within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, providing leadership, mentoring, and quality improvement efforts.

A subset of roles may require driving a personal vehicle. Applicants must hold an active RN license, have a nursing degree, and be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current RN license by state requirements.
• One year of RN experience in applicable care setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call.
• Maintains BLS (ACLS if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide patient and family education across the continuum of care.
• Lead within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective communication; mentor staff.
• May be required to drive own vehicle as part of the role.
