Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with an RN start date after Apr 1, 2020 must provide evidence of baccalaureate degree completion within five years.
• One year of Operating Room experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts.
• Follow Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and standards.
• May drive personal vehicle as part of the role.
