Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to serve as the primary nutrition provider for LVAD and heart transplant candidates, across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will deliver pre-, peri-, and post‑transplant nutrition care and participate in multidisciplinary transplant meetings.

The role covers prehabilitation support, heart failure nutrition therapy for non-transplant patients, and cross-coverage for abdominal transplant nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics; eligibility for Dietitian Registration.
• RD registration and WI licensure as applicable.
• Didactic experience in clinical nutrition from an ACEND accredited program.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for inpatients and outpatients.
• Prescribe nutrition support orders and manage enteral/parenteral nutrition.
• Educate patients and coordinate with interdisciplinary team on nutrition goals.
• Contribute to quality and regulatory initiatives in nutrition.
