Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager - Transplant to oversee clinical operations on a dedicated transplant unit. The role requires a BSN and an active RN license with at least 2 years of RN experience. You will supervise staff, support daily operations, and help advance quality and patient safety outcomes.

Reporting to the senior nurse manager or director, you will participate in hiring decisions and guide the team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Active RN license with 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a senior nurse manager or director, provides clinical and administrative support to staff delivering patient care on a specific unit.
• May deliver nursing care to patients on assigned unit according to nursing standards, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Assists with daily clinical operations and with quality/safety, patient experience and financial management of the unit.
• Assists in interviews and makes hiring decisions as required.
• Assigns work and participates in evaluating the employees supervised.
• Performs duties in alignment with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision and values.
