Albany Med Health System's Division of Nephrology is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Transplant Nephrologist to join its growing abdominal transplant program, balancing transplant nephrology with general nephrology duties.

The role involves inpatient transplant care and multidisciplinary rounds, immunosuppression management, recipient and donor evaluations, outpatient clinics, and ongoing program development within an academic setting at Albany Medical College.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Transplant Nephrology completed.
• Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York.
• Academic experience or interest sufficient for appointment at Assistant/Associate Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Manage transplant nephrology in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in inpatient transplant care and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Oversee immunosuppression management and graft function evaluation.
• Collaborate with transplant surgery and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to pre- and post-transplant clinics and donor evaluations.
