Job summary

University Health in Texas seeks an experienced registered nurse to join a physician-led primary care team. The role provides preventive care and ongoing health maintenance for selected patient groups, and cares for well, acutely ill, and chronically ill patients.

A BSN is required; transplant experience or at least one year of RN experience is preferred. Texas RN licensure and current BLS are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Recent patient care experience in transplant or at least one year of experience as a registered nurse is required.
• National certification in transplant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as an integral member of the physician-led care team that provides primary care including preventive care and on-going health maintenance for selected groups of patients.
• Participates in the care of well, acutely ill and chronically ill patients.
