Qualifications

• MD or DO with Infectious Diseases board certification or eligibility.

• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, trainee education, and academic scholarship.

Responsibilities

• Nurture the educational mission by teaching medical students, residents, and fellows across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Oversee or engage in clinical, translational, or health-systems research aligned with transplant infectious diseases or related areas.
• Collaborate with oncology, hematology, microbiology, pharmacy, and population health to advance care for complex transplant populations.
• Develop transplant ID program growth, protocols, and academic contributions.
