Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX seeks a BE/BC Gastroenterologist with hepatology interest to join the Temple, TX program. This tertiary center features a broad GI team, a liver transplant pathway, and opportunities for academic appointment.

Ideal candidates have transplant hepatology involvement or training, enjoy teaching fellows and APPs, and participate in a balanced mix of clinic and procedures within a fully integrated health system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology; BC/BE IM.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Transplant Hepatology is a plus or transplant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide GI care with hepatology focus to pre/post liver transplant and non-transplant patients.
• Collaborate with Department Chair and Hepatology Director to build a satellite liver transplant program.
• Sports teaching and supervising fellows and advanced practice professionals.
• Share call responsibilities and participate in clinic and procedural schedule, with academic appointment potential.
