Responsibilities

• Handles intake calls from potential transplant candidates and/or referring physicians.
• Coordinates evaluation with the patient/family and transplant team and clinicians.
• Greets patients and prepares them for physician evaluations; screens information and guides tests.
• Coordinates the complex management and education of pre- and post-transplant patients and liaises with UNOS.
• Maintains patient records, posts test results, and discusses potential complications with patient and family.
