Job summary

ChristianaCare's Transplant Program seeks an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to join the multidisciplinary team at the Newark Campus. You will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient transplant care as an independent team member, collaborating with surgeons and specialists in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree as an Acute Care NP or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• License as APRN/PA in Delaware.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Clinician in a surgical setting.
• Experience caring for transplant, surgical, or complex medical patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applying surgical expertise while independently collaborating with transplant surgeons and the multidisciplinary team.
• Performing comprehensive patient assessments, histories, physical examinations, and developing individualized care plans.
• Performing procedures within approved clinical privileges.
• Managing transplant patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Providing care for post-operative transplant patients and patients requiring medical readmission.
• Participating in daily rounds independently and with transplant surgeons and team members.
