ChristianaCare's Transplant Program seeks an Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive transplant care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work independently within a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, developing care plans, and contributing to daily rounds with transplant surgeons.

The role requires a Master's in Acute Care NP or a PA program, Delaware licensure, BLS/ACLS, and at least two years of surgical APC

Qualifications

• Master's degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• State of Delaware APRN or PA license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Applying surgical expertise while independently collaborating with transplant surgeons and the multidisciplinary team.
• Performing comprehensive patient assessments, histories, exams, and developing care plans.
• Performing procedures within approved clinical privileges.
• Managing transplant patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Providing care for post-operative transplant patients and patients requiring readmission.
• Participating in daily rounds independently and with transplant surgeons and team.
