Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking Transmission Utility Foresters to work outdoors supporting power delivery and vegetation management.

This role requires travel, ability to work in rugged terrain, and a commitment to safe practices.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in forestry or related field and/or utility line clearance experience.
• Species identification skills and invasive species knowledge.
• Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and inclement weather.
• Proficient in map navigation; GIS experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Contact property owners and public agencies regarding pruning and/or removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Conduct hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors.
• Gather field data: species, size, and distance from conductors.
• Validate data across databases to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Enforce on‑the‑job safety practices.
• Carry and use materials, tools, and equipment at the work site.
• Service trucks and equipment and keep them in good order.
