  • Perform contingency planning and initiate corrective actions when system, telecommunications, or metering conditions are outside expected parameters.
  • Plan, analyze, authorize, and control scheduled operation of system equipment to support reliability, maintenance completion, and coordination of inter-company resources.
  • Write and issue switching orders and clearances on network and non-network devices within GSOC's area of responsibility.
  • Perform real-time data quality assurance and initiate corrective actions to support accurate and timely operational information.
  • Authorize, schedule, and dispatch field resources to support repairs to faulted equipment.
  • Direct isolation of system failures and support safe, efficient restoration of power to members.
  • Perform fault analysis to verify that problems have been safely cleared.
  • Represent member and transmission interests in coordination with external agencies and partner organizations.
  • Prepare oral and written presentations and reports that keep leadership informed of trends, system activities, and potential impacts to members or the public.
  • This role also carries authority and accountability for reliability-related actions, including actions required to preserve Bulk Electric System integrity or correct generation capacity deficiencies in accordance with applicable operating requirements.
What You Bring
