Job summary

CorSource Technology Group is seeking an Interdisciplinary Engineer to support TEVS, developing and maintaining standard construction specifications libraries for substation and transmission projects. You will work with SMEs to draft, review, and publish sections using MasterFormat, SectionFormat and PageFormat, and support a database-driven platform for collaboration.

The role requires collaboration across internal teams, experience with CSI standards, and ability to train users on the Standard

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture (ABET-accredited).
• 5 years of engineering/architecture experience.
• 5 years of practical engineering experience in construction.
• 3 years using CSI standards (developing libraries, reports, specs).
• 3 years using a database-style platform for writing construction specifications.

Responsibilities

• Meet with SMEs, research industry standards, and draft/update specification sections.
• Consolidate feedback, publish finalized sections, and track changes.
• Maintain libraries in SharePoint and ProjectWise, monitor 5-year review cycles.
• Assist project teams and CO/CORs in assembling specifications and packages.
• Develop use‑cases and use AI tools to identify inconsistencies across standards.
